OBGYN MD with over 20 years clinical and leadership experience. ALso with MBA and MHA. Experienced in HIV, community health, value based care etc. One issue that appears to be blocking me is BC status - expired several years ago as I transitioned to more of leadership role. My mistake but nothing I can do. Any advice on healthcare jobs looking for tremendous breadth of experience on my end but no BC?

With over 20 years of clinical and management experience—combined with a background holding both an MBA and an MHA—your profile is, in fact, exceptionally valuable. While the expiration of your professional licensure may indeed limit your eligibility for certain clinical roles, the extensive experience you have cultivated in healthcare operations, management, value-based care, community health, and strategic planning remains highly sought after by numerous healthcare organizations.

I’m sure others have considered this, I really feel burned out on my specific subspecialty. For the most part I do interventional pain management. I’m honored to be a physician and to help a handful of people, but any suggestions on changing specialties mid life? I have perhaps 15 to 20 years yet to practice..
