I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? Would it be a bad idea to say my availability changed and I can't do that time slot anymore? Or should I cancel / rebook my flight to later at night?

Advice on managing up / enduring toxic deal teams? I’m at the point where my stomach drops any time I see something come in from certain people. I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Is it like a "Hey I connected with this applicant and had a great conversation with them. I think they would be a great fit for the program" type of thing?
