Moved over to a review system called 15Five. It allows you to review your manager. I gave my manager a terrible review. The catch is: they get to “anonymously” see your reviews. Bad move?

I really appreciate honest reviews from my direct reports. I can tell when the relationship is off, and want to be able to work on it to make it better. Just make sure your feedback is productive, and this is definitely a good thing.

Tough to really be anonymous, but I’d otherwise always recommend giving truthful feedback

Oh yeah, we 100% can figure out who wrote what.

likefunny

If your manager is really bad, it won’t be new news to anyone reading it. Sometimes it actually helps towards creating improvement plans for that individual, and sometimes it’s used to make decisions to part ways with that person. We can typically tell who gave the feedback, but I’ve never seen it used against the reviewer. But I’m also not a monster and realize all agencies function differently around anonymous feedback

Hello friends,
I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own. There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Please help!

We’re having a baby coming this end of August. KPMG has 12 weeks parental leave. Planning to take 4 weeks in September but I can’t seem to figure out when to use 8 more weeks. I’m so tempted to do Feb-March (peak busy season for our client) but I feel completely bad cause I actually like this client/team and I know how a lot of test work is done. (Senior A.) Can I suggest to my manager that rather than taking leave, to schedule me only 40 hours during these times? Would that be unfair to others?
