What should a coder/biller/transcriptionist make with over 15 years of experience? I am currently the only person in the office that can do those jobs with no backup. I code and bill all office visits for 5 orthopedic providers and all surgical coding/billing for 3 surgeons. I also do any transcription that is needed.

Wow, you should definitely be at $90k+ but it depends on where you live. You should consider becoming a consultant or doing this as a business so that you can set your own prices!

I don't know how much you're currently making but given the circumstances, sounds like you need a raise. Best talk to admin about that soon as you can.

Are you in a low or high cost of living area? There are a few factors but you should be getting senior-level pay.

Should have added I’m in Iowa.

Get a remote role in NYC, Boston or California - you need more pay. I also agree with the start your own business. You are a Expert! You deserve expert pay

I would take whatever your role is and add to it based on the other roles you're undertaking. You need to talk to admin

I received offer letter from Accenture mentioned joining date is 1st-Oct-22 as I had told them that my notice period is of 3 month,Later I got to know that it is 1 month as i am still in probation. So I asked them to give early joining.

HR told me to put resign and let him know my LWD and as per that he will send revised offer letter.
My last working day is 20 July. Still I haven't received revised offer letter.

Can anyone pls suggest what should I do?

Will they provide early joining?

Hello everyone
I had cleared the technical round at Accenture and uploaded all my documents on their portal. Later, the HR tells me that the demand for the candidates has reduced and we cannot extend offer.

Is this normal with Accenture?

Should I transition to a tech sales job? Thoughts on risk vs reward? I am 34 yo, married with a baby incoming. I work at Google Cloud in solutions engineering (I help develop quantitative business cases with sales teams for customers). My cash base + bonus is $220k (going to ignore equity). I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. I have a competitive personality and I am bored.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
