I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? Any of you struggle with Keloid scars? I've been to the derm multiple times and received Corticosteroid shots that flatten them out but the scars keep coming back. For context, I'm a POC and the scars are less than a couple of cms, but itch a lot when I workout and have caused skin discoloration around them. Also, can I apply vitamin C around the scars to treat the discoloration?

Curious to see if there are any natural ways to minimize their impacts.
