Hi All, I recently interviewed at Amazon and Google for software engineer and passed both interviews. I have an offer on the table from Amazon but with Google I am officially in team matching and my recruiter tells me that the queue is pretty backed up now and it can take a long time. My question is should I take the Amazon offer now or decline Amazon and hold out for Google? I have heard that Google has better wlb/benefits. But I'm scared to decline Amazon without a guaranteed job offer.
Hi folks, i cleared the Accenture consulting (ACN) interviews and hr told me that I'm being considered as an experienced consultant. How do i know for sure that it's not an entry level, because it's not on paper right? Is there any interval leveling?
Also the HR told me that I would be eligible for the appraisal if i join before 30th April. Will the salary push them to promote if you start breaching the ceiling? Accenture

He’s not wrong!
Oh and to clarify further my PI acknowledges my excellent performance. He comes up with excuses not to reclassify me/ others even though it is very clear what my title should be. He has done this to everyone who has worked for him the the past and gets away with it bc people are scared of him.
If you get a job offer in industry, you should definitely take it! The reclass process can take a while, and in the meantime you could be missing out on a great opportunity. Plus, you'll already have a job lined up if your reclass goes through.
Your right! I’ll probably take the job if I like it! Do you think there’s a way to take the job and still get retro active reclass? Like can I take a leave of absence or something . My PI is obvi not going to help/ advise bc he doesn’t want to pay me if he doesn’t have too
Also, since the Union is now involved, I think it’s almost guaranteed it will go through, it’s just the date of reclass they are debating on. Like I deserved to be reclassed 1.5 yes ago but it never happened but they may just reclassify me from a more recent date
