M1 FAAS salary at EY in office like Atlanta?
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

I've been here almost a year and I think my experience is different from others but I have no issues getting on at 9 and signing off at 5-ish each night. I'm also someone who knows I'm not saving any lives with my job so I'm happy to leave things until tomorrow unless it's urgent/others are waiting on me. That said, if you're someone who gets pressured into taking on more or saying yes to things you don't have time for it might be a struggle.
Thank you!! :) so much! I’m in the healthcare space so I’m really excited for the potential opportunity!
Totally dependent on your client/team and your own ability to set boundaries. Edelman is a great place for people who are independent and entrepreneurial. You basically can define your own reputation. There are people who send minute by minute updates of when they are away from their desk, and people who put on a background and you have no idea they’re working from Mexico or something. I personally flex my hours outside of meetings to have time to work out and run errands, and just aim for at least 40 hours a week.
Not a great place if you want balance.
Good to know. I’m looking for work life balance so that’s a concern haha.
Non existent
It’s insane especially if you are in Asia hub offices. For AE/ E expect to work till 10-11pm on a regular basis.
But also it’s not everyday - it’s generally fine for me i can get off 6/7pm most times. Some times when you are in peak season or get more urgent projects in hand is when you need to learn how to prioritize! Good luck, I am enjoying my time at Edelman so far and I hope you will too :)
