My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Is booking 40hrs a week freelancing for one company a good idea? Or does that seem like you don’t have anything else going on? I would like a good work life balance with the ability to take off weeks at a time in the middle of all this.

Any advice on how to get clients to pay your invoice on time / what to do when they don't? I'm currently working with an agency who agreed to net 30 terms, but has been late with every invoice so far...It's probably a lost cause on this particular job, but Im wondering if there's anything I can do in the future to avoid this situation. Massachusetts freelance but go to NY/travel for work occasionally. I am looking at marketplace insurance and leaning towards a Tufts plan. Anyone have problems with Tufts? The BCBS higher cost but there does not appear to be a good reason. I’m afraid of some of the smaller places/never heard of. Transitioning off Cobra with United Health. Anyone have advice?
