I have a weird question

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at ļ»æGoogleļ»æ (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at ļ»æGoogleļ»æ ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Hiii friends
We are hiring...
Know of any agencies hiring?

Had the same experience.
Had one technical and one managerial round. Managerial round was more of an interaction than interview, where the VP and I were having a discussion about the role, the project etc.
Technical round was more like how would you design a certain product. The kind of problems you would run into, how would you solve it. They didn't ask any design principles or anything,no jargon at all. I was stumped initially as I wasn't expecting such kind of questions, but composed myself and answered all I could. They asked some simple technical concept in React as well, but not too hard.
Same, I have an offer from BNP, JPMC and with Nomura had the HR discussion but they can maximum match what BNP would give earlier and JPMC gave better, so didn't go ahead with Nomura. JPMC was a dream company during our campus placements and 5 years hence who got placed, most of the people are still working for JPMC and heard good things from them. Still more than 1 month for my joining, but even I have made my mind of joining JPMC only.
I had given the interviews in Morgan Stanley, UBS, Nomura, PayPal, JPMC, Priceline, JSW One etc but JPMC interviews was not tough as compared to all these companies interview. all other companies asked me Algo and I cracked all except paypal.
Even I was surprised, is it that simple to crack JPMC for 7 YOE Java developerš
What JPMC is offering ?
Offer from jp is good from other companies I gave interview for. Tech stack is java, cloud ,aws
What is the offer and YOE ?
Offer: 23 lpa fixed + upto 12% variable pay= Around 25 lpa
YOE:7
Yeah they look for fundamentals and how you approach the problem. Even for me interviews were somewhat easy
JPMC interviews are easy nut to crack.. quality of work would not be an issue.. you ahould be lucky that with two rounds you were able to convince interviewer... there are other factors aslothan skillset, which determines the hiring
Interviews were medium ish for me as well. 2 Tech rounds and Hireview test. 5 YOE, Java and React.
Same for me
Interviews were easy
I worry about the work quality
Yeah it seems interviews are not tough and also this year a lot of techies are being hired in JPMC. Hopefully work should be something interesting
Hey btw how are you approaching Hiring Manager?
Is it through LinkedIn or you have been provided with contact details?
I can only see the name of the Manager in the Onboarding portal
I have his contact details
Pro
Same for me ..I had one technical and one managerial round that's it
What role have you applied for? Or your tech stack?
It all depends on your team. I joined 6 months back in ccb but not happy with the work, working on outdated stuff and I had worked on better technologies in previous firm. But i do know there are quite many teams here having good tech stack. Im waiting few more months to try for ijp.
hey, how easy are ijp within Jpmorgan?
What location they gave you? Is it Mumbai?
