think about ways you may be able to get a plans with a group. different organizations offer insight to plans and some group discounts based on what state you are in and they are headquartered. freelancers union has a number of oscar plans and i got mine there as i knew this good organization got credit.

Don’t just look at premiums and deductibles, make sure the doctors and hospitals you would want to go to are in the network. If you have a PCP, call their billing office and ask which insurance they accept and if any are better than others. Some plans keep premiums down by having very narrow networks, but it can make it difficult to find a doctor when you need one.
Thank you! Good to know

Ok so, dumb question... how do you estimate your income as a freelancer to see what you qualify for? I’m currently FT (just put in my notice) and have a four month contract coming up. Do I just estimate based on what I know I’ll make between my current 4 months of salary from 2021 plus the contract gig?
