Slightly aggressive . Pwd filed in April , came back in September , recruiting etc done 2 or so months and then perm filed early December .. so around 8 months (a little less) from Pwd filing to perm filing
They filed the PWD early October, however because I’m with a company that pays really well, they weren’t concern that PWD would be unfavorable so they went ahead with recruiting in December, and ended January 30th. I think they are still waiting on PWD, which is why they are saying March/April before they send file for my final review before filing PERM.
In a similar situation, but apparently the legal team said they can’t start the recruitment until the PWD comes through. They had sent in the PWD in Oct and haven’t heard back yet from DOL. How did the legal team go ahead with your recruitment without the response from DOL? Did you ask them to do so?
Given I work at Deloitte as well and we have the same legal firm - not sure if it’s supposed to be a different process or if I should ask them to start it to speed up the PERM process?
