Did you do the NIPT? I just had my first prenatal appt and they scheduled me for the NIPT at 10 weeks. I’m a little nervous and anxious. Did anyone get it and got a false positive? Do you not recommend it? I wish I could ask family but we’re not telling anyone until the 12 weeks mark.

Have been running for the last few years and consistently get “dead feet” feeling after 3-4 miles. Feet go somewhat numb and I stop and stretch to relive the pain. Have tried a few different types of shoes (on cloud / altra / Nike) to no avail. Even tried the loosening of my shoes. Any advice? I’m in good shape and can cycle for 40-60 miles at a time so endurance isn’t the issue, it’s my feet. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions!!!

I am trying to practice a version of intuitive/mindful eating - honoring my body’s hunger cues and not sticking to a timeline or plan as to what and when to eat. But tbh years of “dieting” has screwed over my ability to recognize hunger cues. I suddenly realize my hunger after not eating for 10+ hours and then I’m ravenous and would just eat anything. Anyone dealt with this have any recommendations? TIA

With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. Any similar experience to share?

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. So I’m in my second trimester. Everything has come back normal and great. Anatomy scan went beautifully. Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.
