PIP + Project Pressure — Need Advice

I’m currently on a PIP while also working on a high-pressure client project. With increasing workload (including extended hours), I’m finding it difficult to properly focus on PIP expectations like learning and certifications.

Wanted to understand from others who’ve been in a similar situation:

- Is it okay to request a project release while on PIP?
- Does that negatively impact evaluation?
- Or is it better to continue balancing both somehow?
