Product vs service offer at similar pay (7 YOE backend - SpringBoot, MS, AWS, Java)
Im currently work in a service-based company.
I currently hold an offer Caterpillars Inc
• CTC: ~35 LPA
• Fixed: ~30 LPA
• Variable: ~14% (individual and company performance-based)
I’m also expecting more/ holding offers from service companies in the range of ~27–30 LPA fixed with lower variable components(TCS/HCL/TM)
• At similar overall pay, is moving to a product setup worth it long term. Please advise
