On Instagram, @mommy.labornurse has super comprehensive pump reviews in her highlights. Check them out!
She does reviews the Elvie and Willow in a separate highlight.
Also curious for those who used a traditional pump with baby #1 — Do you think milk output decreased with the wearable pumps?
So this is a different experience so can’t totally compare. My first didn’t really breastfeed great so I was pumping a ton. This time around my baby is solely breastfeeding so I only pump when he doesn’t feed from both sides and I’m feeling full. But if I had to guess, I think the Elvie probably doesn’t get as much milk out, but still way worth it in my mind. It also stops when it’s full like the willow does.
Love my Elvie!
I had the elvie and loved it.
I don’t have the elvie or willow, but I do love my motif Luna. I had a medela pump in style advance with my first and hated it. Check what your insurance will cover. I don’t think they cover the wearable ones in full, but they may be discounted.
I love my willow! I was skeptical at first reading the reviews and everyone saying there was a learning curve, but from my experience it was great from the beginning. Truly a game changer! With my first I used a traditional medela pump and hated the whole pumping routine.
I have the Elvie and it’s definitely a game changer. I also had the medella pump in style with my first and this is by far way more convenient and makes the entire pumping experience so much better. Even my husband commented on how crazy it was that I could be walking around the house doing things while pumping. My insurance only covered like $200 worth of the pump...but the extra I paid was well worth it!
baby buddha!!!!!
