I have Quince’s lightweight cotton cashmere dolman sweater in several colors and wear it most days. It’s a very comfortable light knit and looks nice on screen.

Z Supply is great for summer, Quince cotton cardigans are comfy but put together, AYR button downs are a favorite of mine (all machine washable, which is important for me)

Halara pants are super comfy and surprisingly good for the price.

I'm pregnant and have been increasingly working from home. I swear by Uniqlo knit ribbed pants which look good enough to wear out but are some of the comfiest pants I've owned in years (I fall asleep in them).

That plus a casual knit sweater (full length or short sleeve, such as the knit ribbed polo sweater or cotton Short sleeve sweater, also Uniqlo) work well for a casual yet comfy look.

Hi Fishes,

Is there a minimum tenure that one has to serve in ZS to ask for office transfers? (within India)

And how often do they get accepted and the general sentiment by the management when one asks for it?

Assuming that my team works from Pune (and i like the job scope) but would like to relocate to Bangalore office (hometown) once the team stabilizes and processes are in place.

Would love to talk with you on DMs if you have any experience similar to this.

TIA!

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. I want convert every lead I can. Does anyone have tips, books, cle’s or studied this topic?

I am a CPA based out of Canada. I have 7 years of corporate finance and FP&A work under my belt. My fiancé will be starting dental school in NZ by Feb’23. Aiming to be a direct flight away from her, I have started looking into work opportunities in Australia. Can any expat here share their experience with getting a job as a foreigner? Are there any recruitment firms that specialize in working with expat talent? What was the biggest culture shock moving to Australia?

I have to increase my pay from 5.5 to atleast 30 in next 3 yr

Let’s talk suits. Do you have any thoughts on a junior associate wearing an expensive suit or a suit that departs from the norm (eg subtle pinstripe navy suit, or a suit with larger lapels/peaked lapels?). I’m thinking about upgrading my suit, but I don’t want to piss anyone off with a suit screaming the message “I’ve made it” when I’m just a junior associate. Perhaps it’s just all in my head and no one actually cares.
