I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. I want convert every lead I can. Does anyone have tips, books, cle’s or studied this topic?

If you want to convert every lead, be f***ing awesome at what you do and only take referrals.

It truly is. I should be more grateful for my 8 figure practice.

Thank you

Hey!
I just got a job as an Onboarding Lead (their 1st onboarder) at a small start up.
My job will be onboarding/assisting new clients in our platform. I’ve had 6 yrs of tech support and customer success management experience, but as a 100% onboarding role I am looking for resources on how to build/develop an Onboarding program and team.
I know it’s a vague ask, but any websites, books, creators or accounts that would be helpful to get my creative juices flowing would be so appreciated. Thx!

Recently started a book about politics and the author argues that we (the educated, professional class) are to blame for polarization. Since we are well paid and generally unaffected regardless of who is in power, our positions on issues can be uncompromising. Furthermore, we don’t go out and really engage in campaigns. This is because we’d rather argue amongst ourselves from home. This leads to vacuums where bad actors can take up the mantle of leadership. What do you think about that?

Has anyone struggled with acne? Tell me all about it. Ive been going through what seems like a second puberty but I honestly believe it derives from stress and makeup. I tried to cover it with makeup (all different kinds), which looked terrible and made it worse. I tried acne products. I went to a dermatologist and did a year of a Rx— it didn’t do much for me. During quarantine, I quit using makeup and my skin is much better!! However, I feel self-conscious at work without makeup sometimes.

Fishys, I think I found a hustle. Wife and I combined would get $0 back as a Recovery Rebate Credit. We received $4,800 originally (2 kids). If I file her as separate and put both kids on her return can I claim $1,800 as RRC since IRS treated our official stimmy as individual amounts? Letters 6475 say $2,400 for each of us.

Thoughts???
