Should I quit after 2 months back in consulting? I worked at big4 for 2.5 years, worked in internal consulting in industry for 1.5 years, took a 1.5 year career break after having my son and now I’m back at a mid size consulting firm. Hours are brutal. Work is more demanding than I anticipated. I absolutely cannot sustain this. My spouse also works a demanding job. Should I quit 2 months in? Thinking about applying to industry but worried about how this random two months will look on resume.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. I thought I’d have the upper hand with the nursing shortage but I’m getting the “rules are rules” response. Help!?!

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. Can I take a pregnancy test middle of the day?
