So glad I did not have to go to school today. Not hearing my name called out 100 times, no computers glitching out, no one on games when they are not supposed to be, etc. Got to finish up my Christmas shopping without worrying about overdoing it and getting myself wiped out on a school night-just so nice! How was your Monday?

We’ve been off since last Friday. We go back for a teacher workday on the 3rd with kids coming the 6th. Being single I came to AZ and spent Christmas with my 94 year old Daddy and his wife. I flew in Saturday morning but by afternoon his health took a serious decline. By 5 he was in an ambulance to the hospital. He came home Christmas Eve with a diagnosis a severe sepsis. I am taking good care of him, and God put me here when He did for a reason!

Monday was super relaxed for me and I really enjoyed it! Finished up some gift wrapping and cleaning. Today I will be baking up a storm and looking forward to seeing some family tonight and tomorrow. Absolutely a much needed break for me and it is nice to just do whatever for a bit!
