Most people don't know enough about the creative world and leave it to someone else to post a job description. Companies shouldn't post generic buzzword job descriptions, either.
I see it a lot in marketing roles. The company wants the following skills in the candidate:
Graphic designer
Videographer, photographer, and producer
Content writer
Content developer
Ads buyer
Ads creator
SEO editor (read: writer)
Marketing analyst
Website admin
Social media specialist
Email marketer
Email analyst
Event/Tradeshow support
Data analyst
And if you're working with the company's CRM system (whatever it is), you're expected to manage that, editing/correcting data, etc.
Oh, and you're offered $50k to start.
Those roles are individual positions. Some skills can transfer across, but most of those involve different core competencies. And from my experience, creatives in photo/video/graphics are not the best spellers or writers. And the best writers and spellers don't make the best data analysts. It's one thing to sit at a desk cutting a video for 8hrs straight, and quite another to spend 8hrs editing a data-rich Excel file.
