The advice I’d give is reframing your personal understanding or definition of narcissism. It’s one thing to make unsubstantiated self-claims (“I create nothing but perfect bullet proof timelines”), and a complete different REASONABLE thing to be proud of clearly amazing feats you’ve done while showing impact (“created 10 project scopes and timelines that achieved 99% on-time delivery rates and minimized scope creep”).
If you can base what you’re saying in facts, I don’t think it’s narcissistic.
Hey you need to shout your own achievements sometimes! You should be proud of your accomplishments, and businesses are looking for people with tangible results. It's the two finding a happy medium. It isn't narcissism if you're telling the truth and honoring your efforts, rather than trying to boast and one-up others. Wishing you the best!
You can get a great therapist to work through the perceived narcissism with the awesome salary you score by highlighting your accomplishments on your resume. 😉
