So technically my role at Amazon is senior program manager but I have been doing product work for 1.5 years and indirectly reporting into the product team so I want to change my title. If I’m applying at Meta they will do reference checks I assume and the reference check would come back with my actual title. What are the risks of changing title to product manager?
