Some teachers do bell ringers, while others do a daily journal entry. I do Monday Motivations! Sometimes, I'll do an object lesson, illusion trick, motivational movie clip, etc., and then the students respond to a discussion question related to the motivation I have provided. They can then respond to each other's discussions. I love the times and conversations we have. They are bonding moments, and I love the input from the kids. Do you have anything like this that you do with your students?

One other thing about doing my Monday Motivation, is that I require the students to utilize word count, MLA citations, and writing conventions. This way I am establishing and reinforcing writing skills that are also beneficial in preparing for state testing.

I think my favorite videos we watch are "Perfection" by Prince EA, and "Rise Above" by Trent Shelton. Some of the responses from my students are incredible and bring ne to tears. I always give them a bonus point for getting me in the "feels".

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Found a random engagement ring.

Hi all, so I found a platinum ring (which I assumed it's an engagement ring as it has dates and initials engraved on top.) And a Divvy tag (I have no idea what it was until I googled it. Apparently it's a bike sharing service in Chicago) in a briefcase I ordered online. I was thinking of returning the item back to the store but that wouldn't help the person who lost the ring. Attached is a picture of them.

What should I do now?
