• There is no benefit in volunteering in others work. If someone is eager to do our work and take credit,we should allow it as it will reduce our workload
•Login and logout at the same time 9-6, no office work post that or else personal life involving family will go for a toss
•Take leaves when it is hectic
•No office work over weekends, not even checking emails
•We should always remember that we are replaceable no matter who we are or what position we hold
• Take off on one Friday in a month and enjoy the long weekend
• Accusations, blame game, and politics will keep happening no matter what , as long as it's not a personal level it's better to ignore

I do not like to be as smooth as butter in office environment. I just do my job and enjoy my person life with no interference. I don't even like office events, fk that I'm not there to do Tuchiyapa, just work and back to home, enjoy own life that's it. Even do not like office politics, I just seems strange to people but yeah, that's what I'm.

Can you explain "highly toxic" with an example ? I can understand others.
Try to think why there's peer pressure, unrealistic timelines leading to long working hours. Haven't you ever seen posts like below ?
- Response saying "fake your experience" when someone asks for a suggestion on how to switch from one technology to another (for higher package). Don't you think they may be ONE OF THE REASONS for long working hours (people who may be struggling to meet normal deadlines) ?
- Posts mentioning high salary packages and using one offer to counter another ? Don't you think there would be unrealistic expectations on them, which may slowly get applied to other team members as well, which will definitely impact the morale of entire team ?
- People not working efficiently within the 9 hours due to moonlighting or other personal obligations (running parallel business).
- Toxic thoughts about companies (current or new).
- So many others posts and responses spreading negative thoughts instead of positive suggestions on how to tackle situations. I can't recall everything.
Don't you think it's the people's mindset resulting in the problems you mentioned ?
Thank you very much for understanding and endorsing my view !! Honestly, I didn't expect a positive response ! 😆😂 That is because many people may disagree the impact of the points I mentioned, or they think it's quite normal to do all of them !
Most of the techies now a days are just running behind MONEY, which is TOP PRIORITY for them. They tend to gain only knowledge and skills, but don't have real time experience !!
They want to switch too many companies in a short span of time for money, and they don't find happiness due to whatever reason, eventually switching more and more companies !
You're exactly right - just IQ would not help anyone. EQ is also definitely required, but new techies think that only their emotions are important, and that is EQ ! This is mainly because they don't have EMPATHY ! They can't think from others' perspective.
A small example - each person gets at least 3-4 offers before moving to a new company, but they can join only one company. What the situation of other companies who offered that person but the candidate didn't join ? Isn't this the reason HRs are not preferring candidates with 90 days of notice period ? Moreover, they also need to form a community and agree that the notice period in all the companies should be 15-30 days max. It will help everyone !!
In fact, there are too many factors influencing the grief of candidates and companies also.
IMO, there's NO SINGLE SOLUTION for all the problems discussed on these interrelated topics !!
Everyone has a stake, and need to think rationally without just cribbing others. Empathy is important is what I think.

Hi, You first need to decide on the technology which inspires you , and then get some real time experience to know the depth of your aspiration and then opt for certification. And with experience, keep upskilling your knowledge in technology.
