Currently at BNY Mellon with 10 YOE, specifically in Corporate Trust working CLO/CDO’s (first job out of college). Been with my current company 5 years now. I run my own team but have a micromanaging boss who likes to create chaos for me. He also exhibits stalker like behavior by looking up my family online (addresses, emails, phone numbers, FB/Twitter accounts, you name it) and driving by my house and commenting on things I was doing during the weekend or after work. Just received an offer from citi for a credit risk associate role. There’s no mention of a set bonus range but a mention of “discretionary incentive and retention award”. Is it something standard? Never worked at a BB so don’t know the norm. Thoughts/guidance? Thanks in advance

I came from a consulting background in tax credits and incentives. I went into finance to pass the time on my non compete clause from my previous firm, but now I have an interview at EY and I’m not sure if I want to give up the work life balance. Any advice?

Jump ship or stick it out? I’m a 31 y/o SFA with a Fortune 100 and am learning absolutely nothing. I have 9 years FP&A experience. All we get is busywork and no real opportunity to grow or take a more challenging role since they’re dying for SFAs. Do I stick it out for an eventual Manager role so I can be more marketable to a future employer, or try to pivot out of Finance to a new type of role and company now? Interested in more operations related work.
