The dollar has dropped about 8% this year and is now hovering near a 3-year low—and honestly, I’m not sure what that means for us as option traders. I know a weaker dollar can boost large-cap multinationals and commodities, but how does that actually play into option strategy? Does it shift where we should focus—like more energy plays, gold, or international exposure? I don’t want to overreact, but I also don’t want to ignore a macro shift like this. What’s your take on the falling dollar, and how are you adjusting your trades, if at all?
