What do you guys think, do recruiters share the real salary/range or are they sharing the low-end range for leverage? Or both?

Hello, we've recently started a community focused on FAANG interview preps. Wondering what kind of content people might be interested to see in such communities.

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. I will say this I love working with the students . I love getting to know them . I smile to myself when I go to work . I still feel this way after last week being asked my three different people about doing something where I told them that I was not going to do. following day I was then ambushed by admin (where I have never felt more like nothing. Following this encounter with people in charge I had an anxiety attack. This was terrible and I have no trust . TAs are mistreated. Similar story?

How long does it take for you all to commute to work normally? I am moving to Woking soon and am looking to land a consulting gig in London. It will take me 10-20 min to get to the train station, and from then on the train to Waterloo takes 30 mins. Not sure if that’s going to be too long a daily commute by UK standard?
