Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Assuming you aren’t part of a gang, you have little need to worry about being stabbed. Not sure where you are in Canada, but having lived in Vancouver and visited Toronto - both were probably more dicey.
Mid-20s, take a look online at any of: Clapham, Balham, Islington, Shoreditch, Haggerston, Fulham, Parsons Green, Chelsea and I’m sure you’ll find somewhere right for you!
That’s what I’m saying C1.
I recommend St. John’s Wood - it’s central (Jubilee line, so Bond St is the 2nd stop) but residential and very safe.
Also, do NOT commit to a long-term rental before you arrive. Find yourself a one- or two-month short-term let (these are common here and come furnished) in advance and stay there while you flat-hunt. You must make sure you like the area and street, not to mention the flat itself, before you commit. In London, there are some really old properties that need work or have mold issues, and often there are very grungy sections of even the nicest overall neighbourhoods.
I’ve spent tons of time in short-term rentals here and in other cities (back when I was living out of a suitcase), and honestly bed bugs and cockroaches never crossed my mind. You’ll probably be fine with that! Avoid ground floor or “lower ground floor” (euphemism for basement here) units.

All 3 are really nice and super safe. You would probably get more for your money in Holborn/Blackfriars than Kensington
I lived in Kensington for 5 years and loved it: Green Space (close to Hyde park), Close to the museums etc as well but probably further from your work
Islington is beautifulll
Rightmove and Zoopla are the best sites!
Also, congrats on making the move! London is the best city in the world for living! It’s basically an adult playground 🥂💃🏼🎉
Thanks! I’m excited as well, scary move during COVID but mixed emotions
