This is the first time I got a call from Wipro so I'm confused. Pls help me understand if this is normal. A person from the actual hiring team called me to directly take an interview with absolutely no background of which role what jd or any detail. Just to mention this is the first contact about this role. He has directly started asking coding questions that require a white board on the call. And after 10 minutes of randomly grilling me on the phone call, once I mentioned ctc he disconnected.

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
