It doesn't matter how well the interview goes, the second I'm out the door, I'm telling myself to forget about that job and work on applying to the next. I find job hunting so much easier to handle mentally when I don't get my hopes up. "Hope for the best, plan for the worst" and all.
Yea you’re paranoid. The truth is sadder, nobody cares enough to laugh. The bar is usually “do they seem like they can do the job and I don’t mind talking to them daily”
I’m in an office where I can hear recruiter chats often, they all have very candid chats and it’s super emotional
Well anytime I felt good about a job interview. I’ve never gotten the a job. I do find that when I leave the job interview and reflect on all the mistakes I made or things I should’ve said I have about a 50-50 shot of getting that job so you just never know.
