Claims are never ending so no matter the size you will always have those claims that drive you insane and people yelling and cursing at you for doing your job.
Smaller companies tend to be more amplified. If the culture/ WLB/flexibility is good, it’s great. But if it’s bad, it’s brutal. That’s been my experience. Seems like midsize and larger have been getting behind in giving decent raises, which used to be a big perk.
Conversation Starter
The industry is typically the same anywhere you may go. The culture is what differentiates each company but it’s the same in totality.
Hartford raises are typically 2 - 4%. Your bonuses can be pretty good depending what department you're in and if you lead projects or cross department improvements on top on of your usual job responsibilities.
