In Philippians Paul tells us we must forget what’s past &press on toward the prize. Again, we’re told to leave unnecessary baggage behind & persevere-despite the obstacles. As Christ followers we must not give up- God will help us grab hold of the prize he’s secured for us thru our savior Jesus Christ!

Does anyone have tips regarding attending social events, such as happy hours with coworkers and express that drinking isn’t my preference?
With me being the only one on my team who doesn’t drink, it causes me to stick out, and others constantly question why I’m not drinking.
It kind of deters me from attending work events, but I know there’s a lot of benefitting in being around.
