When I feel like this is happening I have to force myself to take an actual day or two of vacation. No calls, no emails actual time away. Is it hard to find this time yes it can be. But when something is necessary you have to do it.
This is what I do as well. If I need a break I take it. Your mental health comes first.
Sick leave. Mental health days. The gym is great to work out that stress. Pun intended.
I make lists of everything I have to do. When it’s written all out it seems less overwhelming and makes it seem more manageable. I organize in date order and take it one by one.
Vacation also really helps but I get it- how can you step away when you have deadlines. Is someone able to cover for you while you’re gone?
Lastly, long distance running with edm music.
