30% net fees on work originated. 50% to split between myself and referring attorney. Up to 4% on work completed.
A few 5 figure, pre-suit cases on my docket (strong liability) to keep the cash flow.
Slightly more 6 figure matters, a bunch of low 7 figures, and a few 8 figures.
Depending on the amount of in-progress and near-resolution cases an associate is added to when they start here versus brand new cases that will obviously take longer to resolve, an attorney could clear 5-25k fees in their first year or so, or they could turn 100k if they’ll scoop a 25m verdict
I get a base salary, plus a percentage of the fee on every case I settle. The percentage is higher if I generate the case myself.
What is the percentage?
First year was a base + 5% of fees on settled cases, year 2 is 15% w no base. Year 3 will be 20% and after that my percentage is open to negotiation.
