I will be joining Google in 2 weeks and want to keep my current Corp number. Does google reimburse for a personal cell or do I have to get a corporate phone ? Also is there a preferred provider in USA?

It’s interesting to see a lot of sales people want to learn about OTEs but nobody asks about quotas related to OTEs. Most companies make OTEs look attractive and then demand massive quotas and only 20-30% of people hit goals. I’m curious to learn about marketplace commission rates. What’s your quota target? What’s your commission % paid on every dollar up to 100% ? And what’s offered in accelerators above 100%?

@German 🐠🐟 I’m not a local but am potentially joining a startup in Berlin (have an offer but need to negotiate comp). Does anyone have a sense of what a reasonable salary range would be for someone with 3 YOE at McK (leaving at associate level) joining a Series A startup as a strategy manager. Would €60-90k be reasonable?

Besides pay/benefits, what are changes that happen when you move from a C to M levels? Do you have access/exposure to different tools that help you do your job/take on bigger responsibilities?

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

Interned at PwC this summer (going to be junior this fall), got a return offer for next summer that expires Sep 1st, got an interview with McKinsey approximately mid September and they said that I could expedite if I have competing offers. Does it help or hurt my chances of getting the Mck internship if I expedite and do it ASAP or will there not be enough turn around time in general to get an answer?

Anybody know what comp for a senior manager strategy role at Disney looks like? I have an intro call with a recruiter and looking for some insights into what to ask / expect. Please and thanks!

I have a second round of interview (meeting partners) at Davis Wright Tremaine this week? Any tips will greatly be appreciated.

Are people still seeing these fully remote positions in Big Law available/people joining your firm through them? I saw many in the spring, but not sure now that we are closer to September.

Morning fishes!! I appreciate all the help everyone on here has given me. Though I have not landed a new gig phone screens and interviews are starting to come in after a few months of applying to places. Hopefully this is the month. 🤞

Have interviewed big 4 company and got a offer around 25% bump and expecting better assignments than current firm. The partner in my practice reached out and is doing everything he can to make me stay

Any advice would be helpful. Recently started at a tech consultancy and am building up the HR function. Thanks!

What is a relevant exit opportunity for principal @MBB in high tech FANG firms?

Really sad knowing that it will be hard to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas this year due to COVID19...

How much client time do you actually charge/work during the summer? If it's not 8hours a day, what type of code do you charge and where do you work?

I’ve been terminated by my firm. Is there a reason not to sign the separation agreement and accept severance?

I have an interview scheduled for this Friday but I’m feeling very unprepared. I need more time to think through my professional experiences and how that translates to the role in question. How does it look if I move the interview to next Friday? Would that raise eyebrows?

How do you negotiate salary after you get the first offer?

Anybody experienced getting physically sick often when in a toxic work environment?
