Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. What shall be the next steps, shall I wait for some days or start looking for other jobs as getting a project looks difficult as there are minimalist responses.

Just wanted to share something I do that helps. Before class and before my students come in, I say a prayer for strength, courage, and wisdom that day. I pray that I will reflect God’s love in my interactions with my students, and that they will see Him in me. It helps keep me calm and focused, especially when the kids are all over the place. Not forcing my beliefs on anyone, just having a private moment with God. Give it a try. It is powerful.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate so much and feel very lucky to have a job BUT I am losing all the energy and excitement regardles of the project. Every day I struggle with going back to this consulting work. I just don't have the energy to focus (this is not the case for other things and side hustles).
