At JPM there’s a standard formula based on your situation (ie renting vs owning your current home, number of dependents/spouses moving, etc). You’re eligible for that for lateral moves. If it wasn’t offered ask the hiring manager
Where are you relocating to? Congrats on the big switch up.
I'd double check and ask HR about all of your options.
I’m in this situation and should be getting my letter today. I was told there will be a relocation bonus but not sure how much, will keep you updated
Thanks. I got a sign on bonus that they said included the relocation bonus

Yeah I got a relocation bonus going to JPMC. $8500 relocation credit to my account (untaxed) + standard signing bonus that was clawed back from my old firm since I left before a year
Negotiable. I know someone at BofA who got $15K, but they were a senior (VP+)

$7500 (taxed) clawed back + $8500 relocation (untaxed). My sign on was technically the clawed back amount. But I feel like my peers got $10,000 signing bonus as a regular full-time hire.
But the firm raised base pay for A1’s to $110K too. This was a step up from the $95K CAD I was making to now USD lol.
Overall, on a net basis, I still think my bonus structure > the $10K signing bonus a full time analyst would get
