It has been slow year. I started to hear there are layoffs going on in my group. I was wondering if there are signs your next? Also do you get an email to tell you are selected or something?

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
