We graduated from the RE last week and went in for our first OB appointment this morning but they couldn’t find a heartbeat. After 2.5 years of trying and fertility treatment this was the first time I ever managed to get pregnant. Still processing, feeling kind of numb, frustrated, old. I thought we controlled for everything with pgta testing and lupron suppression but now this.

What has better WLB and comp, being a heme onc physician or climbing the ranks of D/SD/VP in R&D or commercial strategy for an oncology line? Not taking into account initial path to get to these positions.

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. Can I take a pregnancy test middle of the day?

Has anyone had any side effects from Ovidrel? I did my shot on Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday I was SO tired and fatigued and it was impossible to focus. I had IVF process to get pregnant. During pre- embryo transfer we were told that girl embryo is being transferred. Currently I am 18 week pregnant. I had anatomy scan and we found out we are having a boy. Baby looked all healthy but due to gender discrepancy, We are asked to do additional testing and genetic disorder screening. Anyone had similar experience?

First post-transfer blood work came back with “ok” progesterone reading. Doc wants to supplement with pills before bed. Any recommendations of how to boost progesterone? Is there something before or after the shot that can be done to increase effects?

Anyone with stage IV endo and recurring Endometriomas gone on Lupron after egg retrieval? I’m still on birth control but my doc said after egg retrieval (assuming we get a strong embryo), I’d get off of birth control and on lupron for two months before transfer. The reason I’m not getting off of birth control now is because it manages my pain.

Experience/success/insights with an “endometrial scratch” before first FET?

Doing FET with my husband; we just found out our ideal egg donor has available lots! It has been a struggle to find a compatible donor, but it looks like we made it!

My husband and I are just starting our TTC journey starting with Letrozole and timed intercourse. I’m planning my 30th birthday trip to Italy in June. Is it too risky to travel if pregnant during the first trimester (in case I do end up pregnant before June)?

Thoughts on at-home pregnancy test 7 days post day 5 embryo transfer? Risks? Downsides? We have our blood test Sunday on day 9.

SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?
