Well, I completely intended to leave when school got out today! Then I remembered that my classroom supply list had to be submitted before Monday. I was so zoned in and finally realized that it was 7:00pm when the custodian came into my room to get the trash. So much for going home early!!! Lots of right wing hysteria about liberals trying to engineer equality of outcome to correct sexual/racial inequities (in higher ed, for example). I think we all want socioeconomic, gender and racial barriers to opportunities to be addressed, but no significant number of people really believe in equality of outcome right? This is just a straw man argument.
