Any advice from fellow women in this industry? How did you overcome gender biases?

My friend was hired for the management consulting team in one of the big 4 for a new service line that was incorporated this year. He joined in April 2021. Since then he has been put on bench with no actual projects. Only training and few support projects without any actual hours.
How do you think it will effect his career? Do you think he should start applying outside?

Anyone ever hear of agencies hiring a writer team? This is something that interests me, but obviously it’s a pretty unconventional thing. But hey, we live in the digital age right?!

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how pissed would you be if you were a supervisor and you had a new direct report on your team with a higher salary than you? The years of experience are the same, but you have 3 designations (they have 0), you have 3 licenses (they have just 2), they have little to no experience with technical complex claims (you have hundreds), and you have 3 years in management (they have 0).

Has anyone gotten a job offer after 3x phone interviews? I'm not at this jobs location. Wish this interview was the last but I'm def kidding myself right?

I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). I’ve been working for a company for 25yrs, looking for advancement. I’m considered an SME, managing people, Vendors and working on large system conversions. Have provided long term goals. When requesting feedback I’m told I’m on the right path, no suggestions on what to improve. I asked about timelines for advancement and not being given anything concrete.
