No. Every time you move you start over in terms of goodwill. If you’ve got a good thing going it’s unlikely the grass is actually greener. If you want some extended time off seek a leave of absence. If they don’t want to give you one then maybe you consider leaving but it doesn’t sound like the other firm offers anything more than current job. It’s just the time off that you seem to want. All else being equal, the fact you have to start from scratch reputation-wise at the other shop would be a hard no from me.
I feel the same way as you do, though I’m a little bit more senior (though still a mid). I’m decently happy where I am but my hours have been brutal the past 2 years. Realistically, I don’t think firms will give you two months off between jobs (maybe a month if you’re lucky). The other benefit of the lateral move, though, besides a potential bonus, would be to get off legacy deals. You’ll def be busy when you start at the new shop, but for better or worse, won’t have pre-existing matters that you hold a lot of knowledge about. I don’t necessarily have a good answer for you, other than to say that I feel the same way, so you are not a lone. You’re junior enough that a move shouldn’t be too hard. If you like the new shop, maybe at least apply? I just wouldn’t expect more than month off (possibly two weeks), though in theory you might slow down once you give notice
