HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two.

What do you do when you need to work with your EC students, have explained this to your teacher assistant (para), but they don’t assist the remaining children with engagement or problems?

I have an extremely gifted 3-year-old that just demonstrated his ability to read at what I’m guessing would be an EOY kinder or BOY first-grade level. What assessment tools can I use to evaluate his reading level? His attention span is extremely limited.

I have a young student with CVI and extremely limited mobility. She is able to vocalize but not speak. However, I’ve seen her response and mannerisms change (positively) in the presence of parents and siblings which leads me to believe that she is cognizant enough to possible use a communication device. Does anyone use Google Classroom for ECSE ? I was supposed to have it up and running by Thursday. Luckily, all of my kiddos came. I didn’t take the workshop this summer and the person that gave a brief overview last week talked so fast that I couldn’t understand what was being said.

4 year-old pinches kids ears to the point of bleeding/laughs when they cry. We have tried everything; time out, safe space, replacement behaviors, telling him to touch gentle. At my wits end!!!
