If I'd want to move from midtier to B4 as a new staff 2, would I be in line with making senior come promotion time?
How to layoffs work here? Just started and because of remote work I’m afraid I’ll be one of the first to be let go if they begin axing people 😬
It seems like there’s a huge range of salaries for “art directors” even within the same city... Does anyone have insight to what range I would be looking at (overall range, lower end of range because I’m a junior currently?). I have been working consistently for 2.5 years since I’ve been out of school, but I’ve worked several part time/freelance jobs and have had several internships throughout schooling years too (total EXP = 6 years?). Would be jumping ship, not an internal promotion. Thanks!
Have an Analytics Manager offer from a bank in Chicago at 115k base +10k bonus. Is that too low? Currently at 98.5k as a Senior Specialist, also managing project workflow for the team. Cont.

Does PwC give out holiday bonus? Or are bonuses given only after CRT? Asking because mid-year review is coming up. New to the firm.
I can’t bring myself to justify paying $1600 for the Herman Miller Embody. Anyone here who can attest to its value and longer term benefits?
Which bank or credit union offers the best high yield savings account? Heard some are as high as 3%
Got a local project after 8 years of consulting. Hate it. Although it's a 10 minute walk from my place.
Can someone please provide the pros and cons of pursuing a fund accountant role versus an operations role? I am having trouble distinguishing between the two roles given that the job specs seem to align more often than not
I’ve been in a position of being the sole provider for me and my husband for the past year now. He has been waiting on his green card interview and we have had it pushed out once already due to covid. It’s emotionally draining and while he’s the most amazing person it causes a lot more stress at work. Since not everyone goes through this it can be hard for my team to understand. It doesn’t help that my job is super demanding and stressful.
As a Han person from Xinjiang, it hurts to see how people always associate China with CCP and just negative things in general. Ugyhurs are not treated fairly but there is no genocide either. The one child policy was only applicable to Han, all other minority groups have always been able to have as many children as they want. How could you call that genocide? There’re so many factors that play into the problems at China and it’s just not black and white.
Big 4 Advisory partner here about to start the search for a direct admit partner position at the other Big 4 or MBB. Advice on which exec placement agency you’d recommend I use to find my next job?
Anyone sign a prenup? Pros vs Cons experienced and was it worth it. Wife to be makes 1/2 salary as me but is 3 years younger and a hard worker.
Any thoughts on shifting 401k contributions from traditional to Roth with the new tax code changes? I'd imagine a lot of us benefit from lower tax brackets in 2018.
