What do you do about staff that just won't take responsibility? For example, they are given due dates.... but, if they miss the due date, they blame it on their manager saying that they didn't remind them or get mad they were late? Especially with employees that have decades of experience???? I can't micro manage like this. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.
