(CONTD) Also, I'm wondering if I should also mention to her that I was also working on other work that is ongoing. I try to put my work in the order if it's important and demands. As I am asked to do reports and other projects while doing ongoing work takes time and can cause overlaps in timing.
In the future, it would be helpful to let me know in advance what project or report is needed so I can do it in a timely manner. Of lately it appears that my work has been critiqued pretty often. I have been give my work every effort that I can without having much breaks in between."
Before this happened, my Supervisor was criticizing me about super petty stuff llike a project she asked me to complete a week ago & complained about the complex report I provided to her--informing my Director that it looks like it took "3 days to complete"--which was a HUGE lie.
I complete updates for my Director yesterday on a spreadsheet she needed me to update & asked for additional clarification, and she did not even bother to answer my questions, say think you, or ACKNOWLEDGE MY EMAIL. However, when my Supervisor sent out an email to our Director informing her how she sent a helpful resource to our clients, my Director said " This is great, thank you for dropping everything and making this happen!" Like what the hell is their problem.
" Its time for me to leave this place. This Supervisor takes off whenever she wants ans is always randomly disappearing whenever something person happens in her life and finding excuses (ex. Needing to attend family renunions during work hours, graduations in lieu of work events, attending birthday parties in lieu of events for work, etc) while im always at work holding the fort down.
It almost seems like my Director is covering for her whenever she doesn't want to work and has another personal commitment to take care of over being present at work (online). I am noticing alot of favoritism. Also, we do not have HR where I work and my Director is the next person to go to about issues since we don't have another Manager in the chain of command over her. The next group of people to go to would be our Board of Directors. How is this behavior okay in addition to how I was questioned about the hard work I did yesterday in my meeting? And how do you respond to this toxic behavior??
I dont even know how to respond to this type of toxicity and constant negativity. Does anyone have any helpful advice besides the fact that I need to leave this super toxic, JOB FROM HELL quick, fast, & in a hurry??
