No pay, no say.
It makes me sad that your agency or the client is potentially making you feel that way. You can do what you want on your own time with your own money. That’s always been the case and will always be the case.
Speaking as a former gtb employee...buy whatever car you want
I’ll convert when I get employee pricing
I had an experience in Detroit where my coworker had her car keyed on multiple occasions when visiting the client’s office. The car she had was not the same brand as the client. I’ve worked on multiple auto accounts in MI and CA and this was not an problem experienced in CA. I use this as a word of caution that there are jerks out there, but know that you situation and family needs should direct your purchase decision first.
Something about this post makes me want to vomit, I can’t put my finger on what.
Also idk, there are worse things going on in the world than this? Do what you want.
Most clients wouldn’t buy the make or brand they work for without incentive, so why should you? Buy what fits your needs. Period

Kinda like on the addidas spot where they asked me not to wear Nike but wouldn't buy me Addidas or give me addidas. Then I kid you not. Had me tape over the logo. Seriously?! And there on set we had about 200 pair of shoes. And I was the DoP. Lol
Our agency c-level always bought brand. The whole holding company usually gets access to the discount rate Ask around.
My auto clients will gladly give me a discount if I ask them.
You are an account person, and you are even ASKING this question?
I've worked on several auto clients, and their office parking lots were always full of competitive brands. So, that said what I needed to know
Simple, no.
I buy the client’s product, but the client has always easily given a discount code when asked
