What is the point in applying to a position(s) that you are qualified for/over qualified for AND reaching out on LinkedIn if you never get a reply? This is with a company that was recruiting me a couple years ago too. I don’t get it. Any ideas on what to do?

I know only limited contract or an unlimited contract. What is this temporary employment contract? Can someone help me?

Saw a job on LinkedIn applied for it and the CEO of the startup reached out to me saying he was game to move to the next stage of the process. Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩
