Six interviews for the one role says they have decision paralysis.

Six interviews is exhausting. At that point, it should be about alignment, not endurance. I would also expect clear communication and some respect for the candidate’s time after that many rounds.
Are they asking you questions that are trying to solve their own internal problems? Like what would you do if you were us and can you give us all your information so that we can use your ideas?
Can you find out their hiring process? They should be able to explain that to you.
That seems excessive. It sounds like they may be keeping you warm. Hiring for a position shouldn't be that difficult. They may be having budgeting issues.
Six does seem like a lot. I was applying to work at a government office once. I went through four rounds of interviews, an extensive background check, and several competency times.

I went through 6 interviews for a job many years ago. I didn't get the role (not enough experience), and then was asked to train the person who did. It was exhausting.
