I am working in Capgemini past 2.5 yrs in Power Bi domain and total i have 5 yrs of exp in IT industry. But my salary is same as my experience 5 LPA. I know i am getting underpaid. If anyone can refer me help me out ...i can give him my first salary... I am at a high debt.

What kind of consulting pays the most? And how did you pivot into it if you belong to that kind of consulting?

Would a failed PIP still pay severance at Big 4? If so, how is severance calculated?

Considering an offer to go from firm (4 YOE) to become a privacy/product counsel for a tech company (non-faang). One concern for me is the potential of a recession in late 22 into 23 with the fed rate hikes. My fear is if that happens, me being on the chopping block as new in house counsel. What was the hardest class year for you? I used to think first year was by far the hardest but now I’m a third year and I’m really feeling the pressure to step up. I work in finance and at this point I’m expected to handle closing documents, manage first years, draft some portions of major docs, etc. I feel like I’m always frazzled, constantly second guessing if I handled something correctly and anxious to answer calls from clients/OC. The worst part is I think people can tell I’m a mess....

I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?
